Ian Brown : What the Stone Roses would have been
One of my perennial favorites is The Stone Roses – easily one of the best bands out of England from the late 80′s early 90′s. Their flame was bright and faded fast. John Squire, the guitarist faded fast but Ian Brown, the frontman, has had a sold solo career spanning 5 or so solo albums. This is a video of one of his live performances from the Glastonbury Festival in 2006 I think. Clearly this is what the Stone Roses 20 years on would have been like. Seek out his tracks and enjoy.
