Windows RC 1 on a Dell Mini 9

Here is a Screenshot:

Windows 7 RC1 Mini Installation *was a breeze*. It was as easy to install as the Beta was. I have only 8Gb SSD, and only 7Gb are available. Despite that fact, the RC1 ISO dropped on my SSD just the same. As with the 64 bit version I installed on my tower, there were no issues and the systems are running fast as hell. Even the Mini with its crap power (See screen).

Cant wait for release!

i like win 7 on my dell mini 9 too, but couple things don’t work right. mainly the integrated web cam keeps saying driver is missing, and two items named base drivers in device manager are missing the proper drivers and i don’t know what they are. any suggestion?

I dont have a webcam on my Mini 9, however, I do have one on a Dell 1525. I have been able to use the webcam on the 1525 just fine. The troube is when not it use the little blue light keeps flashing and it beeps incessantly. I disabled the device in device manager.

My guess is the base drivers have something to do with the camera. Have you been to Dell’s site and grabbed the most recent drivers? chances are they may not work as the mini was built for XP.
