Despite the fact that the moblin homepage reports that its most recent beta version is compatible with a Dell Mini 9, there is no native support for its built in Broadcom WiFi adapter. This make the Dell Mini 9 essentially useless with Moblin.

Using the power of the intertubes, I stumbled across a page which gives step-by-step instructions on how to enable support for the Broadcom WiFi adapter. link here.

I can report it works. I can also report that Moblin is BUGGY AS HELL. I originally tried to write this post from the Moblin browser but it kept freezing. I was surprised to see that a draft of the post was actually posted.

Regardless, I like where Mobiln is going for the netbook scene, especially the Dell Minis.
